L’OCCITANE was founded in 1976 in Provence, the South of France, where the fragrant fields of lavender are a constant reminder of the natural richness of this region. It all started when Olivier Baussan purchased a steam distiller and harvested wild rosemary to produce essential oil. Since then, drawing inspiration from the South of France, L’OCCITANE has created a range of natural beauty care products: face care, body care, hair care and fragrances that are authentic, effective and deliciously appealing.
